📖 Stage Description

The final stage! Leaving Padrón, the path climbs one last time into Galician forests of eucalyptus and oak. The atmosphere is unlike any other day — pilgrims everywhere, emotion building with every kilometre. Monte do Gozo (Hill of Joy), where the cathedral towers appear for the very first time, is a moment you will never forget.

The descent into Santiago winds through the historic quarters in a long, silent procession toward the Praza do Obradoiro. The first notes of the Galician gaita echo through the cobbled lanes, announcing that the journey is almost complete.

Santiago de Compostela, one of the three holy cities of Christendom alongside Rome and Jerusalem, greets you with the baroque facade of its cathedral. The Pilgrim Mass, the legendary Botafumeiro, the embrace of the apostle's statue — emotions that stay with you forever. Bom Caminho — Buen Camino!
