📖 Stage Description

A crossing of the causses between Livinhac and Figeac, through garrigue scrubland and oak forests. Figeac, a medieval city and birthplace of Champollion — the man who deciphered hieroglyphics — offers pleasant accommodation and a lively old town.

This stage crosses the Lot region over 19.4 km with 370 m of elevation gain. The main villages along the way are: Montredon (km 6, 400 m), Faycelles (km 15, 430 m).
