📖 Stage Description

The path follows the banks of the Garonne before climbing to Auvillar, a fortified village on its terrace high above the river. The circular market hall of Auvillar is a rare architectural curiosity.

This stage crosses the Tarn-et-Garonne region over 18.5 km with 210 m of elevation gain. The main villages along the way are: Boudou (km 7, 120 m), Espis (km 13, 150 m).

  Intense heat and little shade in summer — early start recommended before 7 a.m.
