📖 Stage Description

The heart of the Aubrac: cattle herds, flowering bog-myrtle in summer, absolute silence. Lava walls border immense pastures crossed by streams. Nasbinals, a basalt village on the edge of the summer grazing lands, has welcomed pilgrims for centuries.

This stage crosses the Lozère region over 26.3 km with 450 m of ascent. Main villages: La Chaze-de-Peyre (km 6, 1100m), Malbouzon (km 11, 1200m), Montgros (km 18, 1280m).
