📖 Stage Description
The climb to O Cebreiro is one of the most powerful moments on the Camino. After La Faba, the path rises sharply into the Galician mist. O Cebreiro, at 1,300 m, is the first Galician village — its pre-Romanesque church (8th century), its perpetual cloud cover and its pallozas (ancient round Celtic stone houses) carry you into another world entirely. Galicia begins here.
