📖 Stage Description

From Castleroux, the route follows the Creuse valley southwards. The landscape changes noticeably: the great plains gradually give way to the first undulations of the Massif Central.

Passing through Argenton-sur-Creuse — nicknamed "the little Venice of Berry" — is a picturesque moment. The Creuse forms a graceful loop here, hemmed in between limestone cliffs.

The stage of 31.4 km ends at Tendu, a modest village on the banks of the Creuse, at the gateway to the Brenne regional nature park.
