📖 Stage Description
The final stage of the Camino Portugués da Costa! From Padrón, the path climbs through oak and eucalyptus forests toward the Santiago plateau, passing through A Escravitude with its baroque chapel, and then through Teo.
These last kilometres before Santiago are walked by thousands of pilgrims every day: the atmosphere grows more charged with emotion with every step. The path joins the Camino Portugués Central at the city's edge.
Arriving at the Plaza del Obradoiro before the baroque cathedral of Santiago de Compostela (UNESCO) is an unforgettable moment. The Compostela certificate and the legendary botafumeiro bring this Atlantic coastal journey to a fitting close.
