📖 Stage Description
From Caldas de Reis, the stage crosses the Galician countryside toward the Rio Ulla. The first kilometres offer views over vineyards and the wooded hills typical of the Galician interior.
The route passes through Valga and its peaceful rural surroundings before descending into the Ulla valley, heralding the approach of Santiago.
Padrón is laden with significance: tradition holds that this is where the boat bearing the body of the Apostle Saint James first made landfall. The town is also famous for its celebrated pimientos de Padrón.
