📖 Stage Description
This stage crosses the agricultural lowlands between the Gers and the Landes, through wide-open fields of maize and sunflowers. Aire-sur-l'Adour is a Gallo-Roman town on the banks of the Adour, home to the magnificent crypt of Sainte-Quitterie, patron saint of Gascony — well worth the short climb at the end of the day.
