📖 Stage Description

A major transition stage heading into Béarn. The path climbs steadily from the Landes plain into the first Béarnaise hills, with the landscape growing greener and more hilly with every kilometre. Arzacq-Arraziguet, perched on its ridge, rewards pilgrims with a first glimpse of the Pyrenees on clear days.

This stage crosses the Landes / Pyrénées-Atlantiques region over 28.6 km with 460 m of positive elevation gain. The main villages along the route are: Louvigny (km 9.5) — ★ Split option, and Sensacq (km 22).
