📖 Stage Description
One of the wildest stages between Logroño and Burgos. The crossing of the Sierra de la Demanda through pine forests and oak groves is magnificent. San Juan de Ortega, an isolated Romanesque monastery deep in the woods, is a unique spiritual refuge, founded by a disciple of Saint Dominic.
