The last stage. Beyond Olveiroa, the landscape changes — the vegetation grows sparser, the air carries the scent of the sea. The Atlantic begins to appear on the horizon.

The village of Fisterra, with its authentic fishing harbour, fresh seafood and unhurried pace of life, has welcomed pilgrims for centuries. But the true destination lies 3 km beyond the village: Cabo Finisterre.

The kilometre marker: 0.000 km. The lighthouse. And ahead — the Atlantic Ocean.

Medieval pilgrims believed they had reached the edge of the known world — Finis Terrae. In a sense, they were not wrong. There is nothing to the west until Brazil.
