📖 Stage Description

The longest and most demanding stage of the Camino Fisterra. Wild Galicia at its most spectacular — wooded hills, deep valleys, tiny hamlets where time seems to have stopped. You meet few people. You walk a great deal.

★ This stage can be split at Ponte Maceira (km 13), a pretty village with a medieval bridge and some accommodation options.

Olveiroa is a tiny but welcoming hamlet with a well-regarded albergue. This is where the path divides: straight ahead to Fisterra, or the variant route via Muxía. Many pilgrims do both.
