📖 Stage Description

Cudillero is undoubtedly one of the most photogenic villages in Asturias — and perhaps in the whole of Spain. This 16th-century fishing port is built in a natural amphitheatre: colourful houses (red, yellow, blue) tier in a circle around the harbour, connected by vertiginous stairways.

The path approaches Cudillero from the heights, offering a breathtaking panorama before the steep descent to the port. The climb down is sharp, but the spectacle is worth every step.

After Cudillero, the path climbs back to the heights and continues to Soto de Luiña, a quiet village perched on a hill, with its baroque church of San Martín and views out to sea.
