📖 Stage Description

An iconic stage through the Basque interior. At the stele of Gibraltar, three great pilgrimage routes converge — an emotional moment that stops many walkers in their tracks. The first distant views of the Pyrenees serve as a reminder that the French portion of the journey is nearly over.

This stage crosses the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region over 21.9 km with 390 m of positive elevation gain. The main villages along the route are: Arbérats-Sillègue (km 7.3) and Larceveau (km 14).
