📖 Stage Description
Le Barp marks the start of stage 20 of the Via Turonensis. The Gironde, with its world-famous vineyards and majestic estuary, offers a landscape of exceptional richness. Bordeaux castlex follow one another between stages.
The Landes forest envelops the path in its deep green. Belin-Béliet, the presumed birthplace of Eleanor of Aquitaine, marks the true entry into the Landes. The route follows dirt paths and minor roads through a typical landscape of Gironde, alternating forest paths and village crossings.
